A Suggested Strategy Based on Sternberg Triarchic Theroy of Intelligence in Teaching Philosophy to Develop Imaginative Thinking and Mental Motivation of Secondary Stage Students

The aim of the research is to investigate the effectiveness of a suggested strategy based on Sternberg triarchic theroy of intelligence to teach philosophy in developing imaginative thinking and mental motivation of first grade secondary school students, The sample consisted of two groups experimental group numbered (30) students and control group numbered (30) students, the following tools have been prepared: (imaginative thinking test - mental motivation scale). The results showed that there was a statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.01) between the average scores of the experimental and control groups in the post application of the research tools for the benefit of the students of the experimental group and for the post application, so the results confirmed that the high effectiveness of a suggested strategy in developing imaginative thinking and mental motivation.
